Canadian electronics manufacturer Celestica reported an 83% increase in third-quarter revenue on Monday, October 26, and forecast that annual sales could reach $40 billion in 2027 as demand for computing infrastructure expands.

The Toronto-based company recorded $5.83 billion in revenue for the quarter ended September 30, compared with $3.19 billion a year earlier. Diluted earnings per share under standard accounting rules were $3.26, while adjusted earnings per share were $3.30, compared with $1.58 in the prior-year period. The adjusted figure excludes certain items and should not be confused with reported GAAP earnings.

Celestica raised its 2026 revenue outlook to $21 billion from $20.5 billion and increased its adjusted earnings forecast to $11.55 per share from $11.30. Its initial 2027 outlook calls for $40 billion in revenue, adjusted earnings of $21.50 per share and an adjusted operating margin of 9%.

The 2027 revenue projection would represent growth of about 90% from the updated 2026 target. It is a company forecast, not contracted or realized revenue, and depends on customers continuing to invest in equipment for large computing facilities.

The company's Connectivity and Cloud Solutions segment generated $4.87 billion in third-quarter revenue, more than double its year-earlier level. Management attributed much of the broader momentum to spending by major cloud customers and developers of artificial intelligence systems.

Celestica also lowered its 2026 free-cash-flow outlook to $460 million from $600 million, citing working-capital investment needed to support anticipated growth. Its 2027 capital-spending plan ranges from $1.5 billion to $2 billion.

The results were released at 16:17 Eastern time on October 26, corresponding to 20:17 UTC. The company is scheduled to discuss its results and outlook with investors on October 27. Future sales projections remain subject to demand, production and supply-chain risks.
